I rescued my first puppy in July 2020 and from our first meeting she was patient, knowledgeable and incredibly thoughtful in her training approaches. At times my dog can be anxious and we have worked with her consistently to gain confidence with other people, dogs and new situations. Early on, she understood that Luna enjoyed obedience training and agility training and we were able to use that knowledge to help build her confidence. There has never been an issue or situation that I have brought to Kristen that she could not problem-solve with me. Luna and I will forever be grateful to Kristen!Posted on William BelmontTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen helped train my saint bernard. We thought we’d never be able to stop him from terrorizing the neighborhood. Thanks to Kristen we now have a gentle giantPosted on Richard HeathcoteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen Jones should be your dog's trainer. We have brought dogs to her for over five years and have witnessed the skill and effort she employs to bring out the best in them. Fully committed to their success, she researches alternate techniques to build confidence and mold their behavior. She is a joy to watch at work. She is exceptionally flexible when scheduling training or home visits. We continue to be very satisfied with her results and cannot recommend her highly enough.Posted on Laura HerlihyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To say that training with Kristen of Zayne's World completely transformed our dog Ella's life would not be an understatement. When we first started working together last year, Ella was timid, nervous about any change to her routine, uncomfortable receiving touches or pets from anyone other than me and my husband, and often barked uncontrollably when new people entered our house. She was so afraid of school buses, trucks and other loud noises that I avoided walking her on trash days and dreaded AM walks. Kristen quickly diagnosed that Ella just needed to build her confidence. She started working with her in small steps, gradually increasing her exposure to things that made her nervous and showing Ella time and again that she was braver than she thought. As a result, Ella simply blossomed. She's so proud of herself and everything she now knows she can do. Now we can walk past the recycling truck while the men run the carts back and forth and she doesn't miss a beat. Guests in our home are no longer barked at, and they can pet her on the head or scratch her under the chin without seeing her flinch or duck in response. She's calmer and happier on her regular walks and all around more comfortable in the world. My dogs are my kids, and I trust Kristen with Ella more than I trust myself. She instinctively knows and understands my dog and intuits exactly what she needs in any situation- I know she'll always care for her like she's her own. Ella loves Kristen with her entire heart, and also trusts her implicitly. I could never thank Kristen enough for the gift that she's given us in broadening Ella's world and strengthening her belief in herself. (Oh- and she takes great photos too!)Posted on Christine TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen has been phenomenal in working with our fear reactive dog, we’ve made measurable progress in under a year - could not have done it without her!Posted on Tina LintnerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen is the best trainer! We had a very challenging situation with 2 dogs that needed immediate training as puppies! Not only did she work on them Independently but as a pack since it was a total of 4 dogs! She understands behaviors and why they happen. Highly recommend!Posted on Ann BerkowitzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen is incredible! My rescued bloodhound mix, Sophie, struggled with serious reactivity, but Kristen’s expertise has made a world of difference. She quickly understood Sophie’s triggers and created a plan that not only brought those issues under control but also improved her overall obedience. Sophie is now calmer, more confident, and absolutely adores Kristen. Beyond training, Kristen also dog sits and consistently reinforces Sophie’s progress. I trust her completely and can’t recommend her highly enough!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. FAQs
Most trainings take place in the comfort of your own home, where we can train your dog where they actually live.
We also conduct one-on-one outdoor trainings at local landmarks.
I take a balanced training approach, which means I use all four quadrants of learning. Every dog learns differently, and every dog–human team has unique needs. By using a full range of proven training methods, I can communicate with each dog in a clear, fair, and consistent way.
There’s no single method that works for every situation. Instead, I adjust my approach to match the dog’s personality, the owner’s goals, and the real-life environment they live in. This flexibility helps dogs understand what we’re asking of them while building confidence, reliability, and a strong bond between you and your dog
You’ll see us address the behavior you’re experiencing within the very first lesson, so you’ll notice improvement right away. However, true behavioral modification takes consistent repetition. Research shows that dogs form new, stable habits through regular practice over several weeks, because the brain needs time to replace old behavior pathways with new ones.
With steady follow through at home, the progress we make together in each session becomes lasting change.
Training happens 24/7, not just during scheduled sessions. Consistency is key to real progress. Short, focused training sessions—just 2-5 minutes at least once a day—are highly effective and easy to fit into your routine. I strongly recommend using your dogs daily meals as training opportunities to build engagement, reinforce behaviors, and create lasting results.
